Publisher Information Webinar Series
In preparation for California’s anticipated 2025 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption for kindergarten through grade eight, the California Department of Education, in conjunction with WestEd's Region 15 Comprehensive Center, will host the following series of webinars designed to familiarize publishers and content developers with the Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools: Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve (Mathematics Framework) adopted by the SBE in July 2023:
- November 7, 2023, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (PST)––Overview of the 2023 Mathematics Framework
- November 28, 2023, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (PST)––The Big Ideas of the 2023 Mathematics Framework
- December 19, 2023, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (PST)––Instructional Materials to Support Systemic Improvement in Mathematics: Evaluation Criteria for the 2025 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption
A key evaluation criterion of California instructional materials adoptions is that programs submitted for consideration of SBE adoption must be consistent with the associated subject matter curriculum framework. These webinars will help publishers and content developers achieve this goal.
