Tri-County Diversity Youth!
Tri-County Diversity’s goal is to provide social space, peer support and education to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex members of Yuba, Sutter and Colusa Counties, and Straight Supporters. Their YOUTH! program focuses on providing a safe and welcoming environment for ages twelve through eighteen lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and queer (LGBTQ+), gender nonconformity (GNC), and allied youth. They facilitate 2 YOUTH! Peer Support Meetings a month, where members are invited to both share issues and concerns as well as celebrate good news and achievements with accepting peer groups. Sacramento City Unified School District’s LGBTQ Support Services information
Sacramento City Unified School District’s
(SCUSD) LGBTQ Support Services program offers students, families, school staff and community professionals a centralized source of information and support regarding issues facing LGBTQ students that attend SCUSD schools. Services include information/referral, short-term counseling, Infinite Campus Name and Gender Update form, and advocacy (e.g. Safe Zone trainings). All services are confidential and are provided free of charge. They can be reached at (916) 643-7997.

The Center continues to offer peer support groups for a variety of marginalized populations, community resource referrals to meet individual basic needs, education, and training to improve the competency of businesses and organizations to LGBTQ+ issues, numerous artistic expressions, and cultural activities that build community, and volunteer opportunities that empower individuals to give back.

Davis Joint Unified School District is committed to creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for every student. LGBTQIA Resource Center at UC Davis
The UC Davis LGBTQIA Resource Center provides a wide range of resources and support including a national crisis line for after-hours help, community counseling sessesions, and support groups that include scholar-led organizations and group counseling services. There are campus, local, and regional resources specifically for transgender communities, free anonymous HIV testing, and consultation and support around reporting incidents of hate and bias.
