Second Principal Apportionment (P-2)

Reflects an LEA’s total state aid for all programs included in the Principal Apportionment, including prior year adjustments. This forms the basis for determining an LEA’s monthly payments.

Payment Schedule Summary - LEA detail (XLSX; Updated 15-Jul-2021)
Provides an LEA’s monthly Principal Apportionment payment for the month June. The June payment is based on the total P-2 Principal Apportionment amount, net of payments to date including P-1 deferrals. For all LEAs except those with an approved deferral exemption, the June payment will be paid in July 2021, pursuant to Education Code 14041.5. This file was updated in July 2021 to reflect accelerated payment of the February, March, and April 2020–21 P-1 deferred payments, pursuant to Assembly Bill 130 (Chapter 44, Statutes of 2021).

SB 820 ADA Determination Calculation for Growth LEAs and Newly Operational Charter Schools (XLSX)
List of LEAs eligible for Senate Bill (SB) 820 growth determination pursuant to Education Code 43505 and newly operational charter schools.
