Temporary Emergency Impact Aid for Displaced Students


Funding Description

The Emergency Impact Aid program provides funding to local educational agencies (LEAs) that provided instructional opportunities for displaced students who enrolled in their schools as a result of the October and December 2017 wildfires in northern California, and for expenses the LEAs incurred in serving those displaced students.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Funding is provided to eligible LEAs that submitted an application to the CDE on or before May 24, 2018, and is intended to assist with the cost of educating students who were displaced by a covered disaster or emergency during the 2017-18 school year and who were enrolled in public schools, including charter schools and non-public schools.
