Funding Description
The purpose of this apportionment is to provide funding to each state special school to supplement arts education programs. Of the total funding appropriated, 70 percent is allocated based on the share of statewide K-12 and preschool enrollment in the prior year and 30 percent is allocated based on the share of statewide enrollment of economically disadvantaged pupils in fiscal year (FY) 2023–24. This apportionment reflects 100 percent of each state special school’s entitlement for FY 2024–25.
