Dear Council Member Alvarado:

Subject: Apportionment to the Richland School District for the Richland School District–Family Resource Center, Fiscal Year 2023–24

This apportionment, in the amount of $250,000, is made from the General Fund to the Richland School District for the Richland School District–Family Resource Center pursuant to Control Section 19.568(c)(1) added to the Budget Act of 2023 in Section 264 of Assembly Bill 102 (Chapter 38, Statutes of 2023), as amended by Control Section 19.568(c)(1) in Section 97 of Senate Bill (SB) 104 (Chapter 189, Statutes of 2023). Funds may be used to pay for costs incurred prior to the enactment of SB 104.
