Excessive Heat


California is prone to hot temperatures due to its geography. Unlike other states, there is very little chance rain will occur. Furthermore, there are various cities deserts exposed to extreme heat. Extreme heat is a long period of abnormally high heat for a region. Extreme heat can impact the body and may result in nausea, unconsciousness, dehydration, and strokes. The following resources are meant to help understand what to do when facing extreme heat temperatures and how to best mitigate their impact.
