Webinar-Expanded Geographic Preference


The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Farm to School (F2S) Team is hosting a webinar on the expanded geographic preference option included in the final rule, Child Nutrition Programs: Meal Patterns Consistent With the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGAs), which can be found on the Final Rule - Child Nutrition Programs: Meal Patterns Consistent With the 2020-2025 DGAs External link opens in new window or tab. web page.

Beginning July 1, 2024, Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Operators can use this expanded geographic preference option in specifications when procuring unprocessed agricultural products.

Webinar Schedule

The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2024, 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
