Engaging Girls in STEM

Background

In 2016, the CDE partnered with the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls to actively encourage efforts to increase participation of young women in STEM fields. This resulted in funding for three Engaging Girls in STEM Town Hall Events at Los Angeles County Office of Education on February 22, 2017, Riverside County Office of Education on April 20, 2017 and San Joaquin County Office of Education on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
