National Board Certification Incentive Program provided a $20,000 incentive award to National Board Certified Teachers who taught in high priority schools for four consecutive years. However, as required by the Budget Act of 2009 and effective April 17, 2009, the National Board Incentive Program was restricted to teachers who had qualified for the incentive as of that date; in 2013 this award program was no longer funded in the budget.
