  • Item 1–Call to Order: Welcome and Introductions; Mission and Vision; Approval of Minutes.
9–9:30 a.m.
  • Item 2–CDE Update: CDE staff will discuss recent developments within the SED, as well as updates to key areas related to the WAI grant.
9:30–10 a.m.
  • Item 3–WAI Elementary Pilot Grant: Participants in Year One of the pilot grant will present a summary of the successes, challenges, and resources developed.
10–10:10 a.m.
  • Item 4–Public Comment: General public comment is invited on any matter, including items not on the agenda. Issues raised by the public may be referred to a future meeting agenda. Chair reserves the right to establish time limits on presentations.
10:10–10:20 a.m.

10:20–10:50 a.m.
  • Item 5–State Meeting Update and Discussion: Representatives from the WAI Advisory, State and Regional Training Committee, and the State Training workgroup will present on the current status of the proposed WAI State Meeting and discuss next steps.

  • Item 6–Demand Side Employment Initiative: DOR will share information regarding the Demand Side Employment Initiative and their efforts to increase student services.
11:20–11:30 a.m.
