2021 Data Release
In July 2021, Assembly Bill (AB) 130 was signed into state law which suspended the publication of state indicators on the 2021 Dashboard due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because AB 130 requires the California Department of Education (CDE) to publish valid and reliable data that would have been included in the 2021 Dashboard, the CDE:
- Made available the data files containing the 2021 Census enrollment data and the local indicator data, which are both reported on the 2021 Dashboard,
- Published the Graduation Rate Additional Report on the School Dashboard Additional Reports and Data web page, including associated data files on this page, and
- Published the College/Career Measures Additional Report on the School Dashboard Additional Reports and Data web page, including associated data files on this page.
Note that additional valid and reliable data have also been posted on DataQuest. 2020 Data Release
With the approval of Senate Bill (SB) 98 in June 2020, the CDE was prohibited from reporting state and local indicators on the 2020 Dashboard in light of the . However, state law required that the CDE publish valid and reliable data that would have been included in the 2020 Dashboard. To meet this requirement, the CDE has published the College/Career Measures Report and Graduation Rate Additional Report.
