Withdrawal from DASS Participation Instructions

Withdrawal from participation in the Dashboard Alternative School Status (DASS) program.

The Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form is for use by any school currently participating in the DASS. A school that withdraws from DASS participation will not be eligible for participation in DASS for three years.

To see if your school is currently participating in the DASS program, please visit Active DASS Schools.

If you wish to withdraw from DASS participation, please notify the Analysis Measurement & Accountability Reporting Division by e-mail at Dashboard@cde.ca.gov.

Completing the Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form

The California Department of Education (CDE) will be using Box.com to facilitate submission of the Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form.

Once you have notified the DASS Team with your request to withdraw from DASS, the CDE DASS team will assign a secure, private Box.com folder to that school. Inside the private Box.com folder, you will find the Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form.

Please obtain signatures of the school principal, county or district superintendent or charter school administrator on the Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form before submitting it back to the CDE DASS Team.

The school is responsible for uploading the Withdrawal from DASS Participation Form to their school’s Box.com folder before the submission deadline.

Note: Withdrawal from DASS Participation forms submitted through e-mail or by mail will not be accepted.
