Amend Data for Audit Findings

Local educational agencies (LEAs) may submit corrected and revised attendance and unduplicated pupil count (UPC) changes for audit findings through the Principal Apportionment Data Collection (PADC) web-based application.

LEAs should review attendance and UPC audit findings reported in their K–12 LEA annual financial and compliance audit (annual audit) and make appropriate corrections. Corrections or revisions should be submitted in the PADC web-based Application.

Audit Finding Type Adjustments
Attendance Submit the corrected/revised P-2 and/or Annual Report of Attendance via the PADC Web-based Application for the applicable fiscal year. For more information on the PADC, visit the PADC webpage.
Unduplicated Pupil Count

Submit the UPC changes in the School/Charter District Audit Adjustments to California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) data entry screen through the PADC web-based application for the applicable fiscal year.

The PADC web-based application is open for annual corrections during the months of June, July, September, October, February, and March. If the PADC web-based application is currently closed, please submit corrections at the next available window.

For more information on the PADC web-based application access, email PADC@cde.ca.gov.
