Adult Education Block Grant Program


Funding Description

The Adult Education Block Grant (AEBG) Program provides adult education funding to regional consortia, county offices of education, school districts, community colleges, and joint powers authorities consisting of community colleges, school districts, county offices of education, or a combination of these, to support AB 104 specified programs.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Funds are allocated to each consortium based on that adult education region’s share of the statewide need for adult education. All COEs, school districts, and Community Colleges must be a member of a consortium to receive funding.
