2019-20 Project Cal-Well
Funding Description
Project Cal-Well will support the training of school personnel and other adults who interact with youth in both school settings and communities to detect and respond to mental illness in children and youth, including how to encourage adolescents and their families experiencing these problems to seek treatment. Local educational agencies (LEAs) will develop a comprehensive, coordinated, and integrated partnership with multiple services systems to help address critical mental health needs of their kindergarten through twelfth grade students, provide Youth Mental Health First Aid training, identify and coordinate with local community providers to provide mental health services through school and community-based programs for both students and their families.Eligibility
