Funding Description

Middle School Foundation Academies Planning and Implementation Grants will be funded at $1,250,000. It will be for 10 planning grants and 20 implementation grants for middle school career academies ($25,000/$50,000 per Academy).The funding resources for this grant concept request comes from the Proposition 98 - Career Technical Education Initiative that was included in the 2020-21 State Budget. The program aims to establish Middle School Foundation Academies to prepare students for acceptance into a California Partnership Academies at the local high school.
