Funding Description

This is funding for selected California Partnership Academies (CPA) programs demonstrating outstanding operation and adherence to the California Education Code 54690-54699. These programs have applied for and been designated as Lighthouse Academies (LHA). LHA are successful, experienced academies that help to guide the development of strong CPAs. These CPAs understand academy requirements and have demonstrated that they meet or exceed the standards necessary for success.

Required Eligibility Criteria The CPA model is mandated per Education Code sections 54690-54699. These programs are effective school/district/business partnerships, providing integrated academic and career technical instruction to students who are at risk of dropping out of school or who are not motivated by traditional curricula. These programs are currently funded CPAs applying through a competitive process and have been successful in being designated as LHA.
