Special Education: Mental Health Services (State)
Funding Description
Funds are apportioned to special education local plan areas (SELPAs) based on average daily attendance (ADA). They are used to support all mental health-related services to students with or without an individualized education program pursuant to the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and as described in the California Education Code sections 56363 and 56836.07.Eligibility

The First Principal Apportionment (P-1) is certified by February 20th, the Second Principal Apportionment (P-2) is certified by June 25th and the Annual calculation is certified by February 20th of the following year (with that year's P-1 certification). |
