CSPP QRIS Block Grant FY 2024-25


Funding Description

The California State Preschool Program (CSPP) Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) Block Grant is supported annually by $50 million in state education funds (Prop 98 general funds, which by law are required to be administered by a local education agency) for the support of local early learning QRIS programs that increase the number of low-income children in high-quality state preschool programs that prepare those children for success in school and life.

Required Eligibility Criteria We are no longer accepting the applications for CSPP QRIS Block Grant as FY 2024-25 is year two of a two-year Grant FY 2023-25.
Other Eligibility Considerations The funding will be allocated for the CSPP QRIS Block Grants in fiscal year (FY) 2024-25. Applicants awarded a QRIS Block Grant will receive funding subject to quarterly fiscal reporting [California Education Code sections 8426 (a)(1) and 8203.1(g)].
