Dear Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools:

APPORTIONMENT FOR
EXPANSION OF THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS UNIFIED STRATEGY FOR SCHOOLS
FISCAL YEAR 2016–17

This apportionment, in the amount of $1,000,000, is made to the Los Angeles County Office of Education from funds provided by Section 38 of Senate Bill (SB) 828 (Chapter 29, Statutes of 2016). This apportionment represents 100 percent of available funds. A warrant will be mailed approximately two weeks from the date of this Notice.

Pursuant to Section 38 of SB 828, funds are allocated to the Los Angeles County Office of Education to contract with the Special Olympics Northern and Southern California for the purposes of expanding the Special Olympics Unified Strategy for Schools to additional schools throughout the state.

Warrants will be mailed to the county treasurer approximately two weeks from the date of this Notice. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 7810, Other Restricted State, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue.
