EWIG: Special Education Related Professional Development

Assembly Bill 181, Section 124, allocates the Educator Workforce Investment Grant (EWIG): Special Education-Related Professional Development, $10 million dollars to further coordinate and support professional learning opportunities for educators across the state with a focus on universal design for learning to improve inclusive practices for all pupils, including pupils with disabilities, in general education settings.

Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA).
