2023 National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Equipment Assistance Grant (EAG)
Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.
These funds allow school food authorities (SFA) to purchase food service equipment to serve healthier meals that meet the meal pattern requirements, replace outdated or worn equipment, improve procurement of goods, improve food safety, improve the lunchroom to be more appealing to the students, help support the maintenance of an existing kitchen or the establishment of a new school kitchen or School Nutrition Program It gives priority to those SFAs that have not received an equipment grant since 2019.

Assurances, Certifications, and Regulations

General Assurances and Certifications |
Required of applicants and grantees as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants do not need to sign and return the general assurances and certification with the application; instead, they must download them and keep them on file to be available for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should already have a copy of the general assurances and certifications on file and do not need to keep a separate copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA). |
