CCSS Resource Clearinghouses

These sites include continuously expanding collections of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation resources. Since many of these sites are under development, users are advised to check back with these sites often for the latest resources.

    Developed by teachers for teachers, this site offers a free platform that gives access to teaching resources and tools and provides an online community for teacher collaboration. The site has a significant resource bank for CCSS, covering all the aspects of the standards. Share My Lesson was developed by the American Federation of Teachers and Total Education Solutions (TES) Connect.

    This site includes useful information and resources for CCSS implementation. Though it is designed for New York educators, this site has nationwide relevance.

    This site provides free, high-quality resources created through the National Education Association's Master Teacher Project.

    The mission of ReadWriteThink is to provide educators, parents, and afterschool professionals with access to the highest quality practices in reading and language arts instruction by offering the very best in free materials.

    LearnZillion is a learning platform that combines video lessons, assessments, and progress reporting.
  • Teaching Channel Videos of Common Core Lessons for Teachers External link opens in new window or tab.
    There are over 100 free videos related to Common Core instruction available on the Teaching Channel. The videos provide lesson ideas, an overview of the English language arts (ELA) and Math standards, and demonstrations of teaching practices.
  • Teaching Channel Video Series Playlist: English Language Learners External link opens in new window or tab.
    These videos were produced in conjunction with Stanford University’s Understanding Language initiative and examine the key shifts found in the CCSS. The videos highlight opportunities to grow students’ disciplinary knowledge and English language skills in heterogeneous classrooms.

    This site provides research-based units, lessons, and authentic, leveled non-fiction and literacy passages. The ReadWorks curriculum is aligned to the CCSS.
