Tobacco-Use Prevention Education: Grades Six through Twelve Tier 2


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

The Legislature requires that the funds allocated under this Tier 2 Request For Applications must be used to develop anti-tobacco education programs and tobacco use intervention and cessation activities in order to reduce the number of students in California who begin to use tobacco, continue to use tobacco, or both (HSC 104420(k)(1)). This funding opportunity is over the duration of three fiscal years 2023-2026.

Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application (ConApp) should have a copy on file and do not need another copy.
