Direct Certification Requirements in the SNPs


Management Bulletin SNP-02-2025: Direct Certification Requirements in the School Nutrition Programs, is available on the California Department of Education (CDE) Nutrition Services Management Bulletin web page.

This management bulletin supersedes management bulletin NSD-SNP-08-2012 and MB 00-102 to consolidate existing guidance and reflect the recent changes to California Education Code Section 49501.5, now requiring all public school districts, charter schools, and county offices of education to conduct direct certification matching on a monthly basis using the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System.
