First Principal Apportionment (P-1)

Principal Apportionment Summary (XLSX)
Reflects an LEA’s total state aid for all programs included in the Principal Apportionment, including prior year adjustments. This forms the basis for determining an LEA’s monthly payments.

Detail by LEA, fiscal year, and program of the adjustments and prior year recomputations reflected on Line A-20 of the Principal Apportionment Summary.

Payment Schedule Summary - LEA detail (XLSX)
Provides an LEA’s monthly Principal Apportionment payment for the months of February through May. Each LEA’s monthly payment is determined based on a statutory formula, by fund type, calculated as a percentage of the LEA’s total P-1 amount, net of advance payments. SB 820 ADA Determination Calculation for Growth LEAs and Newly Operational Charter Schools (XLSX)
List of LEAs eligible for Senate Bill (SB) 820 growth determination pursuant to Education Code Section 43505 and newly operational charter schools in the 2020–21 fiscal year.
