One-Time Funds for Outstanding Mandate Claims, Fiscal Year 2015-16
Funding Description
One-time funding available for local educational agencies (LEAs) in Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-16 shall first satisfy any outstanding mandate claims. Funds may be used for any one-time purpose determined by the LEA's governing board. See Additional Information for details regarding legislative intent.Eligibility

Required Eligibility Criteria | LEAs must have reported average daily attendance (ADA) as of the 2014-15 Second Principal (P-2) Apportionment and must be in operation in fiscal year 2015-16. LEA includes school districts, county offices of education and charter schools. |

COE Allocation: $40,000,000 allocated to COEs first based on the greater of $30,000 per district or $80,000, and second based on $1.87 per unit of 2014-15 P-2 countywide ADA; funds will be released in December 2015 (50%) and January 2016 (50%). |
