Subject: Sign-Up for Food Recall Updates by E-mail

This Information Alert notifies you about an opportunity to receive e-mail notifications on all food recalls from the United States Department of Health and Human Services (USDHSS) by signing up for free email updates at http://www.recalls.gov/food.html External link opens in new window or tab.

Follow these few steps and you will receive an instant acknowledgement of your subscription from the USDHHS:

  1. Go to http://www.recalls.gov/food.html External link opens in new window or tab.
  2. Select “Sign Up for Free Recall Updates by E-Mail” (in red toward top of page) to access the USDHHS sign-up page.
    1. Enter your e-mail address and select Go
    2. Complete the New Subscriber screen and select Save
    3. Select the box titled “FoodSafety.gov Recalls and Alerts” under the first FoodSafety.gov Updates section.
