Item 4–Panel Discussion on Diploma Options for Students with Disabilities: An expert panel will discuss the alternate diploma option for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities introduced by the United States Department of Education in addition to the creation of other potential diploma options for students with disabilities. Item 12–Voices from the Field: The ACSE would like to receive input from stakeholder groups about trends, challenges, and successes relevant to serving students with disabilities. Item 13–Report on the 2019 California Budget Act: A breakdown of the 2019 California Budget Act with respect to special education funding and related programs will be provided. (Item type: Information, discussion, action)
