Item 3–Assessment Update: Staff from the Assessment Development and Administration Division at the California Department of Education (CDE) will provide updates on the California statewide assessments from the September 2017 State Board of Education (SBE) meeting, and assessment assessment activities occurring in preparation for the November 2017 SBE meeting. Item 4–State Rehabilitation Council: Kate Bjerke, Executive Officer, State Rehabilitation Council (SRC), will provide information on the role of the SRC as advisory to the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) to maximize the employment, independence and equality for individuals with disabilities.
