Upcoming Downtime for CAASPP and ELPAC Systems
System downtime is coming up next week. From Friday, June 30, at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, July 5, at 8 a.m., the following CAASPP and ELPAC systems will be unavailable:
- Test Operations Management System
- Test Delivery System/Test Administrator Interface
- Completion Status System
- Data Entry Interface
- Initial ELPAC Teacher Hand-Scoring System
The 2023–24 CAASPP Planned System Downtime
and 2023–24 ELPAC Planned System Downtime
web pages provide a calendar of scheduled downtimes through June 2024.
Local educational agencies (LEAs) having questions about the scheduled downtime can direct them to their assigned LEA Success Agent. The LEA Success Agent Lookup web page

Registration is free
for the 2023 High School Equivalency (HSE) and Proficiency Summer Convenings that will be happening across California from August 7–18, 2023! The California Department of Education (CDE) invites chief examiners, test site administrators, school counselors, and others with a connection to HSE and Proficiency exams to attend a session. These convenings are designed to provide timely updates and to collect valuable feedback regarding the HSE and proficiency exams.
