ELPAC Reminder
Once the Speaking domain is administered via the Test Delivery System, the speaking scores must be entered into the Data Entry Interface (DEI) on or before May 31, 2024. If nothing is entered into the DEI, the score will be zero for the Speaking domain. For more information on using the DEI, see the Data Entry Requirements page

Starting Soon—Spring Training Sessions
The spring training sessions for Accessing Summative Assessment Results in the California Educator Reporting System (CERS) are set to begin soon! Sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE), these sessions are offered free of charge for all local educational agencies (LEAs). CERS provides LEA staff with secure access to student assessment results from CAASPP and ELPAC summative and interim assessments.
The two online training modules will cover accessing 2023–24 summative assessment results in CERS. Participants will learn how to view and interpret individual student reports, as well as understand the features available for specific assessments:
- Module One: Focuses on the Summative ELPAC, the Summative Alternate ELPAC, and the California Spanish Assessment. This training will be held on May 16, 2024, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Module Two: Focuses on the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts (ELA) and mathematics, the California Science Test, and the California Alternate Assessments for ELA, mathematics, and science. This training will be held on May 23, 2024, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

2024 August Summer Convenings
Registration is Open for High School Equivalency and Proficiency Summer Convenings!
Join us for a professional development opportunity designed for equivalency and proficiency program chief examiners, test site administrators, school counselors, and others connected to alternatives to high school graduation. The CDE will host these convenings and include updates from GED® Testing Service, HiSET Equivalency, and HiSET Proficiency. The Summer Convenings registration
