Upcoming Systems Downtime

From Friday, August 2, at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, August 6, at 8 a.m., the following CAASPP and ELPAC systems will be unavailable for a scheduled downtime:

• Completion Status System
• Interim Assessment Viewing System
• Interim Assessment Item Portal
• Tools for Teachers
• Test Delivery System, including Test Administrator Interface
• Teacher Hand Scoring System
• Test Operations Management System

In addition, the California Educator Reporting System will be unavailable from Thursday, August 1, at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, August 6, at 8 a.m. for a scheduled downtime.

The 2024–25 CAASPP-ELPAC Planned System Downtime web page provides a calendar of scheduled downtimes through June 2025.

Questions about the scheduled downtime can be directed to your local educational agency’s (LEA’s) assigned LEA Success Agent. You can locate your assigned agent on the LEA Success Agents web page. For other support options, visit the California Outreach web page.

2024 Assessment and Accountability Information Meeting Starts Next Week

The first of three sessions for the 2024 Assessment and Accountability Information Meeting (AAIM) series will take place virtually next Thursday, August 1 from 2–4 p.m. Hosted by the California Department of Education, topics for this meeting include the National and International Tests, the Physical Fitness Test, the California High School Equivalency and Proficiency Programs, the Interim and Formative Assessments, and cross-program updates for the CAASPP and ELPAC.

The dates and topics for the other two meetings are:

• August 8—Updates to the English Language Arts/literacy and Mathematics Assessments, Science Assessments, ELPAC, and the California Spanish Assessment

• August 15—California School Dashboard and accountability updates

Registration is now open on the 2024 AAIM Webinar Registration web page . You may submit your questions in advance on the AAIM Question and Answer Google Form . If you are unable to attend but would like to receive materials or a notice when the recording is posted, complete the AAIM Materials and Recordings Google Form .
