These links are created and maintained by outside sources and are not part of the California Department of Education (CDE).

California Association of Science Educators (CASE) External link opens in new window or tab.
CASE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) membership organization that represents science educators statewide in every science discipline at every grade level, kindergarten through university.

California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) External link opens in new window or tab.
CCSESA supports a regional system of education support for the California education system, including the Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee (CISC).

    A collaborative leadership of school districts, the CDE, and other partners to ensure programs, practices, and services that support success for all students. The committee identifies statewide curriculum and staff development needs, provides a communication and implementation network for curriculum and professional development activities, and assists the CDE in adopting and implementing instructional materials and developing publications such as curriculum frameworks. The CISC Science Subcommittee provides collaborative leadership among county offices of education, CDE, and science partners to improve achievement in science for all and to close the achievement gap.

The mission of the CSP External link opens in new window or tab. (PDF) is to develop and enhance teachers' science content knowledge and pedagogical practices in order to support high-quality science education for  all transitional kindergarten to high school students throughout the state.

California Regional Environmental Education Community Networks (CREEC) External link opens in new window or tab.
A program of the CDE and a network which provides educators with resources to integrate environmental literacy in lessons with students.
