This is an overview of the Teaching Assignment Monitoring Outcome (AMO) data and reports available from the California Department of Education’s Dataquest site. This overview includes background, key terms, uses and limitations of the reports, as well as complementary resources from the department.

This is the first video from the Teaching AMO Data and Reports Video Series to support the local educational agencies (LEAs) to understand and analyze their Teaching AMO data. This video explains the difference between legal assignments recognized in the California Statewide Assignment Accountability System and those same assignments under Every Student Succeeds Act definitions.

This is the second video from the Teaching AMO Data and Reports Video Series to support the LEAs to understand and analyze their Teaching AMO data. This video explains that the Teaching AMO reports are based on full-time equivalency and not individual teacher counts.

This is the fourth video from the Teaching AMO Data and Reports Video Series to support the LEAs to understand and analyze their educator assignments data. This video addresses the following topics: a) Teaching AMOs and the Local Indicator for State Priority 1, b) Teaching AMO Data and the Local Control and Accountability Plan, and c) Utilizing Data to Improve Reporting Processes and Outcomes.
