Temporary Emergency Impact Aid for Displaced Students


Funding Description

The Emergency Impact Aid program provides funding to local educational agencies (LEAs) and non-public schools that provided instructional opportunities for displaced students who enrolled in their schools as a result of the 2018-19 wildfires and floods in California, and for expenses the LEAs or non-public schools incurred in serving those displaced students.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Funding is provided to eligible LEAs that submitted an application to the CDE on or before October 25, 2019, and is intended to assist with the cost of educating students who were displaced by a covered disaster or emergency during the 2018-19 school year and who were enrolled in public schools, including charter schools, and non-public schools.
