California Community Schools Partnership Program: Planning Grant

Funding Description

The 2021-22 California Community Schools Partnership Program Planning Grant funds are to be used to support local educational agencies (LEA) in the development of a community school implementation plan. A community school is a "whole-child" school improvement strategy where the LEA and school(s) work closely with teachers, students, and families. Community schools partner with community agencies and local government to align community resources to improve student outcomes.

Allocation Formula There are four sub-grants being offered through the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP): Planning, Implementation, Coordination, and Technical Assistance Centers, all of which have varying award amounts and have separate Request for Applications (RFA). The CCSPP Planning Grant will offer two rounds of funding, this current round will be designated as Cohort 1. The RFA for the second round of planning grants will be posted in fall 2022.
