Funding Description
The WorkAbility I Statewide Conference Grant will provide a comprehensive secondary transition conference for local educational agencies that will include, but is not limited to, workshops for WorkAbility I tools and resources for pre-employment skills training, placement supports for high school students in special education who are making the transition from school to employment or postsecondary college or training, independent living, student-centered planning, and coordination of employment transition services with parents, family, and multiple agencies.Eligibility

Required Eligibility Criteria | These one-time grant funds are carryover funds to previously awarded grantees. Funds will support the development of a statewide conference that supports local educational agencies to prepare high school students and families for college, career, and life success. Grantee was selected through a supplemental application based on their ability to develop high-quality, evidence-based resources to support improvement in local educational agency systems and practices. |
