Dear Kern County Superintendent of Schools:

Second Apportionment to the
Kern County Superintendent of Schools
for the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team
Fiscal Year 2021–22

This apportionment, in the amount of $13,275, is made to the Kern County Superintendent of Schools from funds provided in Schedule (1) of Item 6100-107-0001 of the Budget Act of 2021 (Chapter 21, Statutes of 2021) in support of the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). The amount paid in this apportionment was approved by the Department of Finance on May 24, 2022, as required pursuant to Provision 2(b) of Item 6100-107-0001. These funds will supplement the funds previously apportioned in Schedule (1), Provision 2(a), of Item 6100-107-0001 to support the performance of any responsibilities under California Education Code Section 42127.8.

A warrant will be mailed to the Kern County Treasurer approximately four weeks from the date of this Notice. The Kern County Superintendent of Schools is requested to inform FCMAT immediately regarding this apportionment. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 7810, Other State: Supplement to COE Fiscal Oversight - FCMAT, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue.

The Kern County Superintendent of Schools was notified of this apportionment by email which was sent to its CDEfisc email address. The California Department of Education (CDE) requested that the email be forwarded to FCMAT, including the links to this letter and the apportionment schedule which are posted on the CDE web page at https://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/aa/fc/.
