PG&E Announces Potential Power Shutoffs


The California Department of Education (CDE) is sending this notice to impacted participants in the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) in response to an announcement that the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will be having potential power shutoffs in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Napa, Shasta, Solano, Sonoma, Tehama, and Yolo counties on July 2 and July 3, 2024, due to the potential for wind-related damage.

In the event of an unanticipated school closure, please visit the CDE's Meal Service During Unanticipated School Closures web page for information on waivers that might apply.
