Recognizes California's exemplary schools, teachers, and classified school employees for achievement and for advancing excellence in education.Program Information
The California Department of Education (CDE) California School Recognition Program (CSRP) includes a series of distinct events recognizing awardees in the following programs: California Distinguished Schools, California Exemplary Arts Education, California Green Ribbon Schools*, California Pivotal Practice Program, California Teachers of the Year*, Civic Learning, Classified School Employees of the Year*, National Blue Ribbon Schools, Recognizing Inspiring School Employees*, and Superintendent's Award for Excellence in Museum Education*.
Beginning in 1986, the CSRP gives exceptional schools and school leaders the opportunity to gather and share their model programs and practices and their special skills which have contributed to their success. There are many details that go into the eligibility and selection of these awardees. All of the award programs recognize sustained student achievement, excellence in environmental program design, or superior job performance, and community involvement. CSRP Awardees are recognized at a CSRP Awards Ceremony held during the spring.

2024 California School Recognition Program
This year's California School Recognition Program is to be held in Anaheim, California, at the Disneyland Hotel Conference Center on Friday, May 3, 2024. It will honor the following awardees (ADD).
All schools who are registered are invited to take photos with the State Superintendent.
