English Language Arts/English Language Development (ELA/ELD) Subject Matter Committee (SMC) Members Present:

1. English Language Arts/English Language Development (ELA/ELD) Subject Matter Committee (SMC) meeting for Commissioners and Panel Facilitators
   1. Call to Order:  1:05 p.m. by ELA/ELD SMC Co-Chair Galvan.
      
      
   2. Facilitator Training for the 2015 ELA/ELD Instructional Materials Adoption Training of Instructional Materials Reviewers and Content Review Experts (Information).
      ELA/ELD SMC Co-Chair Galvan welcomed commissioners and non-commissioner facilitators to the facilitator training for the 2015 ELA/ELD Adoption Training of Instructional Materials Reviewers (IMR) and Content Review Experts (CRE).
      
      The California Department of Education (CDE) staff walked the commissioners through the training process; specifically the role the commissioners/non-commissioners would be as facilitators during the training session this week and the deliberations session in July.
