2020–21 Fall 1 Amendment Window Now Open
The 2020–21 Fall 1 amendment window is now open, and will close on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. There will be no extension to the Amendment Window deadline. It is important for the Fall 1 data submission to be certified on or before this deadline in order to report Census Day enrollment counts and Unduplicated Pupil Counts (UPC) for the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). After the close of the amendment window, there will be no further opportunity to amend these data for LCFF except through the audit process.
LEAs should work with their Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPAs) to ensure that special education reports are reviewed and approved by this deadline. As announced in Flash 198, all Special Education (SPED) related fatal Certification Validation Rules (CVRs) are now “fatal” errors. LEAs and SELPAs should review the Revised Uncertified revision generated after 9 a.m. on December 22, and coordinate to disapprove submissions that show fatal errors. It is expected that SELPAs and LEAs disapprove their Fall 1 submission if there are fatal errors for any of the SPED CVRs that are in their Revised Uncertified Revision generated after December 22, and all fatal errors must be resolved in order to certify their Fall 1 submission by the January 29, 2021 deadline.
2020–21 Fall 2 Updates
Fall 2 certification reports are now available and the Fall 2 training schedule is posted to Bridge for LEA CALPADS Administrators/Data Coordinators (see below for an explanation of Bridge). The Fall 2 data collection provides information related to LEA course enrollment, staff assignments, EL services, and postsecondary outcomes for Career Technical Education (CTE) completers.

Bridge Accounts
Bridge is the Learning Management System (LMS) used for CALPADS training. Only CALPADS LEA Administrators or their designee are issued a Bridge account. Our training model is to train the LEA Administrator or their designated data coordinator so that they can train local users.
If you are the CALPADS LEA Administrator/Data Coordinator and you do not have a Bridge account established, follow the steps below and establish a Bridge account in order to register for live training sessions and take advantage of “pre-work” activities.
To activate your Bridge account, follow the steps below. You may also view a quick video entitled “CSIS Bridge Login Process” on the CSIS CALPADS Training Channel for further instruction: https://youtu.be/o2bkJ1EFex4 (YouTube; 6 minutes 44 seconds)
To activate your Bridge account:
Go to the new CSIS website: https://csis.fcmat.org/
- Go to CALPADS >Learning >LMS and choose “Request an LMS Account” and select “Access to Learning” as the reason for the account.
- If you are an LEA Admin for more than one LEA, just choose one of your LEAs.
- Fill out the required information in the modal and click “Submit.”
Within 24-48 hours, a CSIS Service Desk agent will follow up with the remaining instructions via a service desk ticket. Your new user name will be provided in the “Full Description of your request” section of the service desk request ticket.
To reset your Bridge password:
- On the Bridge login page, enter your user ID.
- Select “Next.”
- On the password screen, select “Forgot My Password.”
