  • Item 1–Call to Order: Welcome and Introductions; Mission and Vision; Approval of Minutes.
9:00–9:20 a.m.
  • Item 2–Special Vote: The WAI Advisory will vote on the adoption of the WAI Executive Committee.
9:20–9:30 a.m.
  • Item 3–Public Comment: General public comment is invited on any matter, including items not on the agenda. Issues raised by the public may be referred to a future meeting agenda. Chair reserves the right to establish time limits on presentations.
9:30–10:15 a.m.
  • Item 4–Committee and Region Updates: Region co-managers and committee chairs share news and updates.
10:15–10:25 a.m.

  • Item 5–WorkAbility I Database Presentation: The San Joaquin County Office of Education’s CodeStack team; the WAI Technology, Education, and Communication Committee; and the CDE will present information regarding recent updates and modifications to the WAI database.
11:00–11:20 a.m.
  • Item 6–Student Voice: The WAI Advisory will explore and discuss how student voice is being implemented in WAI programs throughout the state.
11:20–11:30 a.m.

  • Item 8–California Department of Education Update: CDE staff will discuss recent developments within the SED, as well as updates to key areas related to the WAI grant.

  • Item 9–WorkAbility I Advisory Committee Bylaws: The WAI Advisory will discuss the current draft of bylaws and make recommendations to the CDE.
2:20–2:30 p.m.
