Staff Assignment and Course Data

Note that Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) are not required to submit demographic and Full Time Equivalent (FTE) information for staff that do not have Statewide Educator Identifiers (SEID). Following are examples of when this might occur:

• Non-certificated charter school teachers.
• Teachers delivering courses at a Regional Occupational Center.
• College professors delivering college courses to high school students.
• Teachers delivering online courses provided by a public or private agency.
• New teachers who have not been issued a SEID.

Therefore course and course enrollment data will be available for these types of classes, but staff demographic and FTE data will not.

Beginning in 2012–13, staffing assignment and course data (first table below) have been re-organized and enhanced to include more detailed data about enrollment as well as information about classes that have more than one subject content area. The table below includes course information (e.g., course enrollment, grade level, University of California/California State University (UC/CSU) indicator, and No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) core and compliant status) as well as assignment information (e.g., type of staff and time base).
