Mental Health Services

Funding details for Special Education Mental Health Services.

Funds are apportioned to local educational agencies based on average daily attendance. The purpose of these funds is to provide educationally mental-health related services for students with or without an individualized education program, including out-of-home residential services for emotionally disturbed pupils, pursuant to the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and as described in the California Education Code sections 56836 and 56836.07(e).
