Divisions
Career & College Transition Division -- Dr. Erika Torres, Interim Director
Provides administrative services, resources, and policy support to local educational agencies to improve performance in secondary education, including middle and high schools, adult education, career technical education, workforce development, and distance learning programs.
Expanded Learning Division -- Michael Funk, Director
California's Expanded Learning programs are an integral part of young people’s education, engaging them in year-round learning opportunities that prepare them for college, career, and life.
Student Achievement and Support Division -- William McGee, Director
The Student Achievement and Support Division works collaboratively with local educational agencies, administrators, teachers, students, families, and educational stakeholders to ensure state and federal policies and legislation are aligned, supported, and implemented in a manner that provides each of California’s students with meaningful access to a fair, equitable, high-quality, and well-rounded education.
